Gs-t Transmission in a spyder gs 4g64 A.T

I know that the transmission from the gs-t (4g63) will bolt up to my Spyder gs (4g64).
Will I need to swap the TCU? or any other parts? Basically, what do I need to make it run?

The reason why I am asking is because I have a chance to buy a gs-t for $800 with a blown rod bearing.
it has 81k miles so I plan on putting the Gs-t tranny into my spyder since the current transmission is failing.

They are automatic.
 
ok well first of all i have never heard of anyone blowing a rod bearing. i think what you are trying to say is that the 4g63 that you have the chance to buy has spun a rod bearing. which is what we dsmers call crankwalk. now that the bearing is gone it is allowing the crank to move around a little so there may be more damage than your ready for.

WTF??

The crankshaft "walk's" when the thrust bearing is destroyed allowing direct crank-to-block contact. This has nothing to do with a spun, or otherwise damaged rod bearing.
