GS-T to GSX Engine Swap HELP

Ok i have been searching a littel but i was just wondering if a 2g

GS-T engine swap to a GSX as long as i use the GSX Transmisssion.
95-96 Engine Swap to a 97-99

There the same engines but your guna need the AWD tranfercase and i would get the tranny also.

Why would you do that? They are the same 7 bolt motor with the only difference being the CAS (GST and GSX motors are exactly the same). Drop a 6-bolt in there if your gonna do a swap. If you do end up doing this you can reuse your transmission because you would be pulling out your old motor and basically just putting the exact same motor back in.

maybe just possibly he only has a 7 bolt...im sure he knows that he SHOULD go 6 bolt...but sometimes you gotta work with what you have.
