grounding your exhaust

I currently put the apex downpipe and RNR 3 inch exhaust on my car.......i can't find a grouding spot for the 2 grounding straps......is it nessary to ground it? If it is where should i ground it to......the exhaust hanger???

You need to ground the exhaist. It helps with O2 sensor grounding. If it is not grounded you may have problems with your check engine light going on.

my CEL is on. ran a diagnostics test on it and read fuel trim malfunction. i guess very common with these cars. cant figure out why its on and chech everything that i was told to.
could this be my problem? not trying to highjack the thread but any info will help

When I installed my turbo back I left them ungrounded. Never got a cell and MPG is still the same as it always was. Maybe it depends on the car?

It could be your problem because a fuel trim malfunction can also mean you O2 sensor. It isn't that hard to put one on just use a 3" hose clamp around the exhaist and bolt it to the exhaust mount.
