Grounding knocksensor

How do you ground the knock sensor? I know its bad blahblah but how do u ground it

if you unplug it it will show like 7-9 degrees of knock and constantly pull timing to try to rid the motor of knock.

Honestly again i strongly do not recommend going if but if you reeeealy want to you can...i dont know...zip tie it off somewhere. I like to live life on the edge too but damn

It sends a 9 count of knock to the ecu if its unplugged as a precautionary measure (on 1g, not sure for 2g).

Instead of grounding it, remove the sensor, push it in styrofoam and zip tie it out of the way. After you do this, run a huge pull and melt all your internals, since if you want to remove it, your obviously experiencing knock, and all knock occurs for a reason, whether detonation or road noise pk.

Instead of removing the failsafe, dig into why you are knocking instead. It might be an overactive sensor, but that is advantageous to none at all.

yea im getting phantom knock and no actual real knock thats y i asked and previous owner put on new sensor and its hard as a muffa take break loose its way too tight which could be a problem for sure

Do you have ecmlink? If so you can set an RPM to disable knock to.

You don't want to ground it you want to just disable it.

The problem with that is that even if it is phantom knock. What are you going to do if you disable it and you get real knock? You would never know.
