1G Ground Wire Kit

I have a loose ground wire right below where my air filter goes. Its attached to the body of the car, but its just hanging there. the other side is not attach to anything. I think it suppose to be grounded unto the transmission, cause i just had a clutch install by a friend and he took the transmission off and i guess he forgot to attach it back on. so I could just attach it anywhere on the engine or transmission or does it have to be on a certain spot. And would that cause any affect if it stays how it it (loose, not attach to anything)

I have a dimming issue also but I believe it is because at 750rpm the alternator does not work quite as well as if it were at 2000rpm. The way they are designed. The ground wire I would try to get back on if possible. I think that serves as somewhat of a motor ground too, but not necessarily a ground for a certain circuit

yeah ummmm hook it back up. The ground wire is the for a reason, If the system cant ground itself threw the wire, it will find another place to ground itself.

Short story, My friend with a turbo mr2, his ground wire broke while driving. Well his system grounded threw his throttle cable. Resulting in his cable to break. Electricity will always try to find away to a ground.

hook it back up and you shouldn't have the problem anymore.

Ground it back up. Check your battery and alternator.
