I can shift up through the gears fine but when I try to downshift into first gear and only to first it grinds really bad. I just changed the clutch (stage 2) and the gear lube. Blead the clutch (the right way) and everything is fine except the ginding only downshifting into first gear. Why is this?

The thing is that I never had the chance to drive the car before I changed the clutch because the clutch was sooo warn that it wouldn't even engage. But I'll try to adjust the MC. But let me knpw what else it could be guys. Thanks

That's the gear lube that I put in it already. So theres nothing that I can do about this problem??

this is infact not a problem but just something you have to deal with on a dsm. this doesn't mean you have anything wrong with your car, that's just something all our dsm's do. unless you get a shep tranny or TRE tranny you'll have this grinding. it has everything to do with the synchro's. you shouldn't really need to be down shifting to 1st gear anyways. at this point you should be going slow enough to use your brakes without messing them up or like they say "double-cluth!"
