Grinding/Vibration

Ok, I searched around and can't find anything that really fits what is happening. When I turn the key and start up the car it will sometimes make a rattle as it cranks (kind of like something is loose). Also, it will sometimes either make a grinding noise at idle and on decel and sometimes during accelerations. It sounds like something is loose but I checked mounts, exhaust, shields...all. Could it be a TOB or something? It's not a rod or anything internal in the engine I don't think; it's not that rythmatic with the engine. Thanks for the input!

I'm sure if yours is auto or a manual, but if it's an auto:

I had seen this before, when the flywheel/flexplate broke, the crank was spinning, but the flywheel was skipping, and making the noises...
Or it could be a manual flywheel is broken in the same way, but less likely...

Does your noise come on with clutch depressed only, or does it come on, with clutch pressed in also? Good luck!!!

its manual. there's a relatively new flywheel and clutch in there..and the flywheel isnt loose (crawled under and check. the shield is not there). its gotta be some stupid thing thats loose that i just cant pinpoint cause it doesnt matter if the clutch is depressed or not.
