Grinding noise

i have a grinding noise coming from the passenger side of my engine i have a 5spd tsi awd and i first started noticing it when i was driving kind of slowely in first gear. then just today i started the car up and it was making that grinding noise agian then when i pushed in the clutch and drove off the sound went away. any thoughts?

i have a noise that happens sometimes but its my throwout bearing going out if i push the clutch it goes away

ya it doesnt sound like my throw out bearing is going bad.

Sounds like the intermediate shaft bearing in your transmission!
It will kinda sound like a bad tob.
