Grinding noise

I got a 92 AWD... I was driving home from work and a grinding noise came from my car... i drove to my girlfriends house and looked and it sounded like it was coming from the block.... the car still had all it's power though and the revs the same with the same sound.... i started to drive home and every i was downshifting to slow down i heard a winding noise coming from under my car.. and the the picture of an oil lamp or something kept flashing frequently... what does that mean?? i juss changed my oil 800 miles ago and i'm not leaking oil.... i don't know a lot about transmissions and AWD systems... any help will be appreciated... thanx guyz

i found out what was wrong though ... i had no oil bc i have bad piston rings these cars suck donkey ballz

ok, You changed ur oil, and ur not leaking any. YET since you have bad rings, You dont have any oil? Am i missing something? Its VERY easy to tell if you have hella bad rings. hella blow by, hella smoke, Crap performance.

You see that Smoke comming out the back?!?!?!? THATS OIL!
