Looked at a few post, but haven't quite seen my issue. I have an AWD 1g that recently underwent rebuild. I've stiffened my drive shaft up using the window weld method, but I've noticed a new issue. In 2nd gear and up, when I release the throttle to decelerate, I get a weird grinding/grating sound from the center or right rear of the car (presumably). It only happens when throttle is lifted, in gear. Out of gear, no sound. I'm seeing carrier bearing and u joint possibly, but has anyone suffered from this? Solution?
