This morning as I was driving to work, something clicked down by the passenger side of the ECU. I got a CEL, and the Anti-Lock light turned off. The CEL turned off after about 5 seconds and the ABS light turned back on like usual (no right front speed sensor). The radio also shut off when it did this the first time, and then came right back on. It did this twice before I got to work.

Five minutes later another guy said that my alarm was going off but it was the type of alarm when the battery is almost dead (sounded like a bird chirping). So I went outside and tried starting it but sure enough, it acted like the battery was dead. I then reattached the cables from my inverter to the battery and power came back immediately (very strange). They were unattached becase I had to jump the car yesterday because I left the lights on.

So basically, ECU seems to have reset while driving and electrical power seems to be flaky...anyone have any ideas? Thanks!

alright i had somewhat the same issue with my 90. I had a clicking coming from the ecu location and found that it was the injector relay clicking. That was working fine. I found out after alot of trial and error that my battery cable ends were shot and the car was getting juice to power up, but not to start with a jumpstart. Had to push start the damn thing to get it home.

So i would check your cable ends, make sure they arent to worn or cracked or anything, because that could be what your issue is.

Mine looked worn, but still decent. But i had the same sort of electrical issues that you are talking about.
