voltage gremlins

Recently my 2g has been voltage jumping. after sitting for a while
12 - 16v
my guess is the voltage regulator?

3 lights come up on the dash when the voltage goes low
Low coolant / oil pressure / and another i cant recall

New alternator belt
My battery grounds are good
Fairly new battery
If im right the alternator grounds itself threw the chassis, correct?

Any ideas or suggestions. please help.

Sounds like the voltage regulator,one thing though is the alt belt tight ?

It's charging 12V, than jumping to 16V? An alternator typically puts out 14.2V to keep a charge on the battery. Where are you testing this from?

Alternator is going out (regulator is inside alt). Yes the alt grounds itself through it's casing to engine.
