I just inherited a 1996 gst automatic with a bad headgasket.. I pretty much have everything back together but there is a harness that has some green gromet inside that goes nowhere for me... I cannot find a location for it and the car ran before without it and didnt seem to have a problem but Im sure it needs to be connected somewhere.. One of the wires was cut / spliced into the AC compressor though.. The ac does not seem to function so I dont know if it has something to do with it or not.. attached is a pic ... Its not the cam or crank sensor as they are hooked up already.. Thanks for any help...

Is there any wiring connected to your AC compressor? That looks like the plug that is supposed to go to the compressor but it is hard to tell. I didn't hook back up my AC so I have a free plug that looks similar to that one. I will look for you in the morning if its not snowing to bad.
