So I'm most of the way there. I'm trying to pull out the black boxes in the way(forget what they're called), I seemed to have taken out all of the bolts required to remove them. The right one wiggles around a lot more than the left one and they're somewhat connected by clips it seems. I need some guidance to remove them.

Are you talking about fuse boxes? Don't remember them being plugged in, most likely the wires are holding them. If they are then free up enough wire to be able to flip them. Then you will see a tab on each plug. Push in on the plug, push the tab, and pull the plug out. Easy as that.

You're question is a bit vague. Which harness are you pulling? The control harness (ECU, injectors, sensors, coil pack, etc.) or the engine compartment harness (lights, fans, etc.)? Both?

The A/C fuse box (on the driver side) is plugged into the harness compartment harness. The main fuse box (passenger side) is not plugged into the control harness but it is wired into it. There are two connectors underneath that box that need to be undone if you are separating the control and compartment harnesses. Also need to remove the wire for the alternator fuse; it is bolted into the fuse box.

It is not necessary to pull the engine compartment harness to pull the control harness, or vice versa.

When you say engine harness do you mean all the harnesses in the engine bay? Or do you mean the actual engine harness? Just cause it's in the engine bay doesn't mean it's the engine harness. I +1 on getting enough room after removing mounting bolts then unplug connectors on the back side.
