Green antifreeze turns yellow/orange

Well, ever since I owned this car it has done this. before the engine warms up, the car makes a funny gear noise, like a groaning. It does not affect drivability or preformance, from what i can tell. as soon as the thermostat opens, its like a switch, the noise stops.

the noise also goes away when the engine is reved above 3k rpms. and the antifreeze turns from green to yellow/orange within days.

any ideas?

thermostat has been replaces, along with timing belt, and antifreeze obviously.

Try flushing your whole cooling system. It's probably just rust build up in your cooling system.

groan comes from the water pump area.

uh oh. The antifreeze doenst look like there is oil in it does it? Take some out and rub it on your finger...is it real real slippery like oil?

does your oil dipstick look like a it has a milkshake on it?
