I sold my IC pipe kit with all clamps and couplers for $60 and he is missing 2 couplers and the clamps. There should be a coupler for the bottom of the elbow that connects to the SMIC and at the end of the bottom pipe to connect to the turbo.

The parts, brand new are over $400. But the parts definitely don't provide 400 bucks worth of performance. I really enjoyed my Greddy UICP, smooth transitions and no need for a "second half" to complete the routing to the throttle body, unlike other solutions. The BOV is hit or miss, many enjoy them. I enjoyed my Type-S. Many had issues.

So think about this, what are you goals for the car?
You can ebay the same piping kit (worse welds, lower quality tubing, a sharp 90 bend) for around 130 and then throw on an ebay Type-S (works fine, don't listen to the haters) for what, 40? So if you were going to get the knock offs of this setup, brand new you would be under $200.

Alternatively, you could just hang onto your stock LICP, and get an RRE UICP and 1g BOV for ~120 bucks. You'd probably get the same performance, and better parts for much less if you took this route.

But then again, whats are your goals? Not keeping the T-25 for much longer? Then don't worry about investing in a LICP. Going to a FMIC sometime soon? Then skip all this and just get a 1g BOV and adapter for the time being.

Whatever you do, don't go broke over that used Greddy setup.

well for the meantime iam planning on making the best out of my t25 and if it dies soon then im going the 16g way to the end with all the supporting mods. if the t25 dies then iam on it to have a 300-350 hp eclipse with the big 16g and the mods.

i will offer him 120 usd and see what he says i hope he will sell it. i have by the way an evo BOV(plastic) now and its great holding 15 psi like champ but since im getting this kit its nice to have the greddy type rs.

i hope this 120 usd will put a smile on my face

thanks

I wouldn't pay more than 200 tops for all of that. It is missing 2 couplers but you can make those out of your old stock piping.

Personally I've had that and you are paying for the name and it is nice but I've also bought the punishment racing kit that is the exact same thing for a fraction of the price. That is also brand new and comes with a lifetime warranty. But I don't know if PR makes those anymore. It's not on their website but I'm sure you can e-mail them and ask them.

Good luck with the buy. In all honesty, if you plan on going FMIC, just stick it out for now and wait for a group buy on here. I got the VRSF FMIC kit for $2xx. It'd be a much better improvement overall. I just wish I had a plan when I first started buying then I wouldn't have lost money buying and selling parts.

I think Ive seen this up for sale somewhere for quite awhile. And be careful what you offer. Tell to give you a ballpark. I cant stand when somebody tells you OBO like a silent bid. Obviously hes trying to make a buck and cant get rid of it but if you notice about 90% of the stuff in the classifieds is overpriced and people are proud of their crusty parts.

I would offer 80 bucks for the lot. Ic piping costs nothing the Rs bov's are nothing to call home about. Aluminum is what like 20 cents a pound..... I ran complete FMIC 2.5 piping and a bov for under 100 with three and four ply couplings and t bolt clamps. That was the MOST I have spent to date for ic piping. I generally can go to the metal recycling place and get any diameter tubing known to man in near perfect condition for pennies on the dollar. Little cut here little cut there and wala intercooler piping for five bucks. Your money is going for the fancy brand name on it. A pipe is a pipe, fancy bov's have fancy parts that break and cost a lot of money. I have used basically nothing but 1g crushed bov's they can be had for 30 bucks or less. They do not fail often and can support a descent amount of power. Oh and they are dirt cheap. I would rather go cheap on the stupid stuff and put the big bucks into my engine or fueling system. 400 bones for an upper and lower ic pipe with a bov ROFL. I can buy two complete FMIC's with piping for less....

yes 200 NEW IN BOX, not sitting collecting dust god only knows that kind of hell it has been through. Used abused beat and blasted= im not paying anything even close to retail. The type rs valves are not special. They cost 200 bucks because of the tens of millions of dollars greddy spends on advertising every year.....

got my old "greedy" i mean Greddy ICP and type-s used for 60 bucks, it looked brand new. MUCH better condition then the pics you posted up. this was back in '05, the type-rs haddent been born yet, but, HONESTLY, i would walk away from ANYTHING over $100.00 FLAT. no questions asked.

My dejon uicp makes a lot of noise under throttle lift. The Greddy doesn't. I think it has to do with how thin the dejon pipe is. The good thing about the Greddy piping kit is that it works on both the stock sidemount and the fmic core. Granted you would have to get a Freddy front mount to make it work down he road, it is still a nice feature. The greddy rs bov is nohing to write home about. It may be adjustable but they are hit and miss. Many of them need constant readjusting and/or diaphragm replacements year after year. Just a heads up.

I would offer 150 and see what happens. I paid 300 total for brand new uicp, licp, and 1g bov. I really recommend getting a brand new bov. It's a very important part when it comes to your cars health so make sure you are getting something that works exactly as it should or you are in for a hefty repair bill later.

When I got my RS new, I ran it for a little and I didn't' notice any problems. I was also new to turbos so I didn't realize that my diaphragm was bad too. I tried to to the RTV fix on the diaphragm and that wore out very quickly. Went to go buy a new one and found out that it cost's $80 for a new one. I'm unsure of the price now, but I doubt it's much different than that.

I would ask the kid to check the diaphragm and see if there are any tears or pin holes. One tiny little hole in that sucker and you have a leaking BOV. Word of caution for you.

well now its too late i bought it already for 140 USD i think its a good deal and also i went to a turning shop and made my self a recirculation fitting for 5 USD its great and looks very nice. its made of metal and fits perfectly instead of the horn.

i did not check the bov and i hope its in working condition i will install everything tomorrow and will let you know guys

cheers
