Greddy U pipe

So I've got a greddy 24v ic and i'm just curious about the lower U pipe. It's only 2" and my turbo outlet pipe is 2.25". I don't really know how much difference 1/4" would make. Would it be worth it to spend the $60 from RRE and get their 2.25" U pipe?

The switch from 2.25 to 2 and then from 2 to 2.25 (if I remember right the U pipe needs a reducer to fit on the IC) to the IC will hinder the flow a bit but I doubt it would make an immense difference. It may help considering the GReddy kit already has quite a bit of piping for the air to flow through.
