GReddy type s bov with stock intake

I am going to buy a GReddy type s bov off ebay, what would I need to install in to my stock piping and intake.

Also I am planning on getting a blowthrough set up from dejon, can I just swap the bov over when i get the new piping and intake.

If you're getting a new UICP, then just make sure it's flanges for the type-s. When you get it, you'll just have to find a piece of hose to connect the BOV to the intake. Check your local hardware store.

You will need This to adapt the BOV to your stock pipe.
Along with This to properly recirculate that new BOV..


I also Highly recommend you open that BOV, Look for debris. While also, sealing the top and botton of the Bladder's sealing edge with some Clear silicone. The Greddy type S is know to leak badly from factory..
Also use some Blue locktight on the BOV's allens screws, not only to keep them in place but also to make them air tight.

The adjuster screw and locknut are also know to Strip and fall out. so be VERY carefull! use blue locktight on the adjust aswell..

Once you have it pre-fitted to the stock pipe. SLOWLY close your hood, while paying carefull attention to where the adjuster nut come in close proximity to the bottom of the hood. Mine made contact with the hood. Which would cause severe leaking issues along with scratching the hoods bottom. If yours touches and you do not fix it. It wil strip the BOV heads threads and fall out...

Simple solution IF yours does the same thing, Is to remove the adjuster allen screw. and Little by little grind down the Botton of it where it touches the bladder inside the BOV.. basicly. make the screw shorter. just beshure to radius the tip again so it doesnt gouge the bladders metal center section.

GL, and enjoy the new sound from that greddy...

You do not need the adapter in the second link. Your type-s has a part that sticks out and works just fine for attaching a hose.

My bad I constantly keep getting the RS and type S mixed up..

Or you could check out the NGR type S, which is essentially the same thing, but with a better diaphragm, 6 months of warranty, and a 30 day return policy
