I have a 1g and i just put in my new ic pipes and i had to get a greddy bov for the flange. I only get the flutter at lower rpms. and i am not sure what to do. the lower nipple i have just open and i don't know if i should plug it or what. Any help would be appreciated.

it is normal flutter if it is under low boost. just check the adjustment screw and make sure it is not too tight or it will flutter. if it flutters under high boost, then its most likely too tight. i also dont have my lower nipple covered. i dont think it does much, just another vacuum source. ive driven it for 2 years like that no problem, from boost settings of 10-16 pounds. so if someone else can chime in, thatd be great on what to do with our lower nipples.

+1 as long as it is only fluttering at low boost it's is normal, if it is doing it at higher boost adjust the screw. The bottom port can be left unused, if you were to use it, you would hook it up to a pressure source, all it does is help the bov open faster

Depending on how much boost you are running, you can do the single spring mod.

Tee into your boost source going from the intercooler piping or compressor cover to the wastegate actuator. If you have a manual boost controller, you'll want to tee into the line going from the boost source to the MBC.

Your MBC should NOT be tee'd into the blow off valve line unless it is one of the older non-bleeder style MBC's.

Ok great thank you so much, i adjusted the bov and its just snug on the top of it and flutters at low boost say if i shift at 3000 but when i get into higher boost there is the normal release. as long as i am not hurting my turbo everything is good:thumb:
