i purchased a greddy full auto turbo timer with the plug and play harness. Was just wondering if anyone knew how to install? theirs a few other wires that i dont know where go.

There are two pieces of plastic you need to remove to get to the plug for the harness. First off, there is the large piece of plastic that your hood release is part of under your steering wheel. I think there is 4 bolts that hold that on. Remove the bolts but leave the hood latch attached and just swivel it out of your way. Then look underneath the steering wheel, there is a plastic cover that covers the steering wheel column. There are 3 screws that go from the bottom up, remove those screws. Lay on your back and crawl under your steering wheel. Push the steering column plastic out of your way, dont remove it. Under that plastic is the clip you need. I believe the clip is blue? I think it was on my car. Unclip it, and plug your harness in. Regardless, there is only one plug under your steering wheel that the harness can plug into. The only plug left on your harness goes to your turbo timer.

I believe Chuck_3 is correct about the purple and black wires.

purple is for E-brake option, and black is ground. If you don't want to use the E-brake option just ground the purple wire as well, thats what my instructions say for my greddy harness.:talon:

um there is red, green, and white. the black ground like u guys said. there also is 2 coming out of the timer itself, a blueish gray one and then a pulple and brown with some plug sort of connector on the end

other than the black ground wire, you only have to worry about the brown wire and purple wire - my instructions say that the brown goes to the e-brake wire and the purple goes to the speed signal wire
