Greddy Turbo Timer Harness

The Greddy harness for the 89-94 DSM with factory alarm TT-14-42 (15930002) is no longer available... I've gone nuts calling everyone to see if I can I find one but no luck.

I want to make one but I'm curious what makes this cable so special... it's the part about it working with the factory alarm that's a bit confusing. Also different posts suggest different connections...

Does anyone have one of these cables and would like to give me a pin out for the connectors? I have both ends of the ignition connectors and the 3 pin connector to for the TT... now I just need to know how it's wired by Greddy to make it work.

Thanks but I don't think you read my post...

There are no TT-14-42 (15930002) cables on ebay... I looked there after I ran out of ideas. The TT-14-43 (15930003) cable is for 1G cars with no factory security systems.

Oh, my bad.

On second look, the pic you posted is the exact one i am using for my 92 w/o factory security. I just don't have anything plugged into the 2 wires that have connectors on them.

I'm not sure which one I have but it looks just like that one. It does not work with the factory alarm. You have to modify the stock wiring to do that. As far as I know none of them did. It would require some time of modification. Those two extra wires are just a switched and unswitched 12v source. They do not hook up to anything on the car that I ever found. I modified the factory alarm although now that I think about it one of those was to fool the alarm ecu into thinking the car had been shut off. Easy to do either way. I'll have to find it but I'm sure I have that harness laying about.

Greddy has already done the engineering on making the TT work with the factory alarm... that's why I'm looking for specific information on the TT-14-42 cable.

Somebody must have one laying around.

I think the "engineering" is simply those green and red wires. If memory serves one is 12v switched and one is 12v unswitched. They would be used to fool the alarm into thinking the car is off. Regardless of what you do it isn't hard to make the factory alarm work.

I understand that you connect some colored wires from the TT to some wires in the ignition harness.... I'm trying to understand what the difference is between the cable ending in 2 (cars with security system) and cables ending in 3 (no factory security system) is. There must be a difference why else would they bother building and stocking two different parts.

The cable ends are no different. They plug into either car. I think the other harness is missing those two wires is all. I didn't use them to make my alarm work but looking back I probably could have. The instructions were in Japanese so it was no help. I also did it like 16 or 17 years ago so I've forgotten alot.

Don't get me wrong, I appreciate all the input but it doesn't really help me. I'm not talking a poll on what others have done or what work arounds there are if your willing to give up a features... I'm looking for some one that has the correct harness and can give me a quick diagram so I can duplicate it.

I already have the connectors for the car, male and female, and I purchased a Greddy harness (the only one they had in stock was for a supra) to scavenge the 3 pin connector that goes to the TT.

I guess I'm going to need to spend a little quality time with the factory wiring diagram and work this out on my own.

I don't know what brand it is. Greddy if I remember but I have that harness. Plug ends are black but I have the red and green power wires. What is it you want to know? I don't know the part number for this as I bought it so long ago. If i still had the receipt it would be a miracle. I bought the car in 1992, likely installed this in 93 or 94.

I have that exact harness only the harness ends are black. Yes I'll sell it as I have no use for it.

the greddy techs said that the red and green wires are for just there for convenience of hooking up gauges and boost controllers etc. red is 12v switched and the green is 12v signal
