So I bought a turbo timer for my 1g from the classifieds. It came with all the wiring. I found the PDF instructions on google. I have the T harness wired into the 6pin connector under the steering column, the 3 pin to 4 pin harness is connected to that. I have my ground on the power harness where my stereo grounds, and I have the parking brake ground hooked up because the PO had a wire connected to the brown wire already. I start my car, it powers up, I have it on P1 on 10 sec for testing, shut the car off, the screen on the timer doesn't switch like I've seen on YouTube, it counts down, the timer shuts off, car doesn't, and timer turns back on. So I have to unplug the TT to get the engine to shut off. I even went into settings and changed it from Ig to Acc and changed the switch on the back and it still doesn't work right. Also when I plug the TT in with no key in the ignition the battery, oil, coolant, etc lights come on as if I put the key in and the TT isn't even on. I looked at the wiring and it all looks good to me. Any help here would be appreciated. I might take a video and upload it to YouTube to show what's exactly going on. Anyone with a greddy fat tt in their 1g if you could tell me what settings you have it on and maybe I can check mine that would be great. Thanks.

But you also have to switch it on the acutal menu on the TT they have to match. But since the light only comes on with pressure that TT might be done.

Check out th the thread "RIP 2.3L stroker" and tell me why in the hell you want a turbo timer again??
Those are trash. First mod i did to my eclipse was cut the wires and remove it. I wouldnt even sell it. It went straight in the trash. Anything that stops my car from shutting off when i want is a bad bad thing.
If youre running the holy piss out of it all the way to your garage then let it idle for 1 minute or 2 maybe. But most people, after a spirited drive, take it easy the last 2 minutes anyway before they park.
Just read the thread about 10 or 15 down from this and tell me if you still want a turbo timer..... They should be banned, total waste of money and a hazard...... a Turbo timer ROFL....
