i just hit the tuning phase of my car build, and i was wondering if anyone has used the Greddy E-Manage system to tune their dsm, and how well it works? i know dsmlink is perfered but i cant get an e-manage for half of the cost

oh yeah 1g talon tsi awd

i use emanage on my laser right now. It works great. If you get the timing harness you will be able to adjust timing which can be nice. Also having a fuel map to work with allows a little bit more of a fine tune. Dsmlink is still one of the best choices to go with if you can afford it but the emanage will work and if you get it for the right price is well worth it.

I have the profec E-01 and looked into the emanage also. Problem is, aren't you still "fooling" the ecu with the corrected air flow amounts?? This causes problems with timing mainly, but with the DSMLink you actually control Inj. Pulse width correct? Seems to me that the emanage just would not work as well. Anyone have anymore info. on this??

you can control timing with the emanage i do that now. My timing after all the airflow adjustments was near 29 degrees. I just took timing out where i needed it.
