Great, ran a compression and re-did timing.

So Its finally warmer outside, and i can finally work on my car.. Me and some friends we re-did the timing, and still no fire..then i ran a compression check and all Cylnders read 0 except for cylinder 3 its reading 115. im pretty sure my rings are bad and gotta do a rebuild on the bottom half. Any input will help me out.

pore a cap of oil into the cylinders if compression goes up it the rings if not its most likely the valves

So basically just pore a cap of oil threw the spark plus holes into the cylinders then run another compression check..I never heard that before but ill give it ago..so if it still reads 0 then the valves are the problem.

If you're 100% sure that the timing is set correctly then pull of your valve cover and have a look at the valves from there. If the rockers look like they can be taken off by hand and your valves are stuck in an open position even when the cam lobes aren't touching them, then you know your valves are bent and not seating correctly.

Was this car a timing belt victim by chance?
