lookin for 9s country, Nevada
just wanted to say i got my wiseco pistons and eagle rods for my g4cs (4g64) for $704 shipped from www.dragonautomotive.com it may look like a rice store but talk to tyson. he can get almost any part out there and is great with the customer service. :thumb:

John you seem to have gotten a good price. I would be curious if their invoice had a corner cut off or where the ship from addy was as the company uses a PO box for their addy. Mark

i think he runs the business from his house and just has the companies drop ship stuff.

It's people like you that prevent future research and development from happening because you won't support real DSM shops. What has this jackass ever done for the DSM community?

:thumbdown

That is a very good price. And as far as him and/or people like him preventing future DSM R&D.... Step back and take a breath, there are plenty of us that buy from the "real" shops to support them, that is why shops like FP take so long to get there orders out on certain things, because they have so many orders. :thumb:

so you think he shuld spend more money for the same part

well there sport, first off, in the past 8 years of owning 5 dsms, ive probably bought more stuff from more dsm vendors than you can count. ive watched them come and go. so id say that i paid my "dues" a LONG time ago. when you can get a real car that doesnt have a 420a motor and have actually spent insane amounts of money building up a car dont talk. after awhile you start looking for the cheapest prices. secondly, NO ONE had the wiseco pistons in stock that i needed. this place did. or said he did. i got a tracking number 2 hours after i ordered. so eat shit and have a nice day

Yes, I do actually. If you want the development of new parts to continue for our cars then you have to bring your money to them. If everyone is out there looking for the cheapest ####ing price in the entire US, it ends up being a "shop" from the guys house.

Real DSM shops can use this money to pay their tech's and researchers to help build better products.

Do I like spending more money? No. But I also like having the best products possible.

Spend your money at shops that have actually contributed to the DSM community.

Buschur, Magnus, AMS, Slowboy, AGP, TurboTrix, Pruven, Road Race, MachV, Extreme. All of these out-of-the house places are a ####ing joke.

Your a bigger retard than I first thought. I have owned a 1995 gs-t and currently own a 1992 TSI AWD, and I now have a 1996 rs with a blown engine that I got for 300$ to fix and sell.

I built my own ####ing motor in my garage from the bare block up. Eagle rods, ross pistons, MLS headgasket, timing belt, you name it, I've done it on these cars and people can vouch for me doing this stuff.

ooohhh. people can vouch for you. well i can go get my mom to open an account here and say things to make me look good too  so you built your own motor huh? good job :thumb: heres a cookie. since you dont have any numbers in your profile im gonna assume that it didnt run worth the shit. for someone that opened an account here in september and has made only useless posts for the most part you certainly have a great opinion of yourself. ill let you have your delusions of grandeur while i enjoy the extra money i saved by being a smart shopper

Just throwing a heads up, this pissing match is a quick way to get this thread locked and both of you could get repremanded. Just a thought.

I have another name on this board that I no longer use since I don't own that car anymore. Nined5_gs-t.

I ran a 13.1 @107 on the 14b on pumpgas. Is that fast enough for you? I now have an AGP 50-trim kit with no times on it since a valve broke off destroying my motor. My car is now up and running but the tracks are closed and I am away at college.

Here is the thread of my motor buildup costs. http://dsmtuners.com/forums/showthread.php?t=142005&highlight=eagle
I am the third post from the bottom.

Here is the thread from my old sn of my turbo kit from AGP. http://dsmtuners.com/forums/showthread.php?t=93812&highlight=AGP
Scroll down about halfway down the page for the pics.

You have made alot of accusations about me, all of them wrong. Continue living in your bubble world with the extra 50$ in your pocket you tool.

In my first 2 posts, I was talking about the shop he bought his parts from and how that was a slap in the face to the real DSM shops. I'm pretty sure that's on topic. Thanks for stopping in.

he can get the same shit for less so you are spending more money and he still has the best products possible
plz get back on topic or they will close this

ive been called much worse by much better people. you ARE aware that having multiple accounts here is grounds for being banned right? perhaps you need to go to the newbie forum and read the rules. do that while i enjoy the*$150* dollars i saved by getting an ice cream cone. or buy some new dvds. or maybe some games for my xbox. or fill my tank 4 times. or make alot of long distance phone calls for a buck a minute. :thumb:

I have to say, that I also like to shop around for the cheaper prices. So in the longer run I might have more parts for the same amount in total spent. Awesome deal by the way, peregrine.

As for you, rjgeier, if you think we need to spent the money to support the R&D of the real DSM shops. Then why did you rebuild your own engine and didn't spent the $5000 for a engine from bushur, magnus, slowboy racing, ....

So, IMO you do the same thing peregrine does, save money!

Sven

I changed my account because I no longer own that car, so the account is worthless to me. I haven't made a post on it since I've switched to my new name. Good for him, he's getting the same products, that is the whole point of my argument.

Judging by your responses, I'm assuming you aren't doing the engine work yourself and that it is at a shop. You rely on dsm shops to fix your car when it breaks. If they cant afford to pay their techs, how the #### do you plan on getting your high dollar hooptie fixed?

Why should I pay for someone else to build my motor when I can do it myself? Who do you think I bought the parts for my car from? When I need parts I goto them. If something can be done on my own, I'm going to do it on my own.

I guess I am screwing the whole community over by building my own engine AND doing all my own machine work.

This community is all about DIYers, not the shops. Believe it or not, Buschur started out as a DIYer years back(if you don't believe it, go read the history on their site).

No complaints, accusations or attacks on shops, other websites, or buyers/sellers in the Classifieds. We are not the DSM Better Business Bureau, nor do we have the resources to be the DSM Better Business Bureau. We have a strict policy against "shop bashing". This means, we don't allow complaints and accusations to be made toward shops who have displayed weak customer service "in your opinion". If you want to help others choose a good shop to take their car to, then list the shop you'd recommend in your member profile. This is the only feedback we'll allow here on our site. Negative feedback tends to attract fraudulent accusations, flamewars and rumors which can put undeserving shops out of business. Since we don't allow negative feedback, we'll also ask that you not hype up any shop either. Post your recommended shop in your profile and others will be able to quickly learn who the best shops and vendors are. We also recommend using a new resource which was created by a site member, called Vendors-Reviewed.com to help rate and review vendors.

One account per person. If you register multiple accounts, you may be removed. If your account is suspended, and you register a new account, we will automatically suspend that account and may even consider looking into taking legal action.

Juts posting the rules guys... peregrine, nice find, i may have to look into that

No, your not. And buschur started out making pieces to sell to the dsm community such as intercooler kits and i/c pipes, and exhaust. All of which have been stolen and copied.

Congrats on building your own car, that is ####ing awesome :thumb: I am only against those who shop at these home businesses thereby ####ing over the real dsm shops.

Correct on all counts.

There is also a "personal attacks" rule being tread on.

Good find, but rules are rules.
