Got my head today

So i picked up a head today and now im ready to put the eclipse back together whats some things I need to be cautious about when putting everything back together how do I reline my timing back up to the block

i have an eclipse manual in a pdf type , pm me if you need it, it will help you a lot and it will tell you how to do things . step by step. and guess what i will offer it for free.


i am not sure if i can offer this manual on the forum, i have to check with the Wise men first if its allowed ???????

yeah man your best bet is to look at a manual, it will have all the torque specs and have the timing diagram, just make sure you read how to do the timing a couple times until you completly understand how to do it, and just take your time. after you do it once it is fairly easy, so good luck

what gasket are you going to use?
how was the head resurfaced?
How thick is the head?
did you have the valve springs checked?
are you going with head bolts? or head studs?

im going with a cometic gasket i picked the head up of a local guy and took it to a local machine shop he said everything seemed to be good and im going with the arp head studs
