Got head back now problem

I just picked up my heaad today. I got it resurfaced, pressured checked and cleaned. Well when i was inspecding it I noicted two nicks in the head. I was wondering if I should take it back to the shop or will the little nicks even do anything? And if I did take it back what would they do resurface it more and more till theres nothing. Also in the pick its not the hole line looking thing theres just 2 small nicks.

I'm not quite sure what'd they do. There's an upper limit as to how much they can take off of the head. If you take too much off, you'll need adjustable cam gears to compensate of for the changed cam gear positions relative to the crank sprocket.

The sealing surface of the block is very important, but I'd imagine that as long as the "nicks" don't protrude outward in anyway that would remove the head further from the block you'd be ok. I'd also be sure to use copper head gasket spray - there's been some debate over whether or not to use this stuff; but in this situation, I would definitely use it.

If anything, you could at least take it back to the shop and ask for their opinion.
