Congrats on the times! That converter sounds like a no go imo. If its slipping that much you should atleast be able to footbrake up to 3k or more without nitrous. Sounds like its tight down low and loose up top. Complete opposite of what you want. I can footbrake my ipt 9" to 3500 with no nitrous. I'm on a 2.0 with a divided t4 1.00 a/r 6766. With a 26" tire mine goes through the traps around 145mph at 9k and I think that's still pretty loose up top. Also does the car hold on the brakes fine at 4500rpm? The reason I ask is because that seems a bit high and if your holding back to much torque on the line it will cause transfer gear failures. I would lower the 2-step a bit and see what happens to the 60'.

It only holds because I retard the timing so much when i'm at the 2step RPM. When I had it at normal timing, it blew through the brakes. When I let off the brakes, timing ramps back in quick. I'm giving Mike a chance with this thing but if something doesn't happen soon, i'll have to look elsewhere I guess.

AEM should arrive today, made a deal with the Sandbox for his 1650's, picked up a T4 manifold but I still need to do a lot like Swap trans & T-case but I need to pick up a new clutch and flywheel first, need an AFPR and fuel filter for my massive -10 feed lines, turbo & lines, and then just some small things.

It's not a lot of stuff but it requires cash and time. Hoping to finish the fuel setup this week with a trip to extreme soon then setting my sights on the cluth & FW. Damn car...

I am currently running the core 2 but havnt been able to get back to the track.

This was on the original 9" core 2. Going to a 9" core 2a w/ different stator.
