Anyone seen a good tech article for the SSAC FMIC 1gb install? I've seen a 1ga and a slightly pictureless 1gb install, but I wanted to know if there was another one? Thanks.

The moderators have been asking for tech articles along those lines. That doesn't help you, but if you ask around from others who've done it, you can probably get a variety of ideas for different approaches, common issues you may run into, how to deal with them, etc. And if you do go to do the install - document it (lots of pictures etc.) and make a tech article.

It just seems as many as they make, there should be one on their website or someone should've done a VFAQ/writeup here. I haven't installed mine yet, maybe ill take some pics and post a review, since i've got all the stuff on my car (ac condensor bottle, oil condensor bottle/power steering...

There you go, instead of a review, do a complete step by step installation guide and submit it as a tech article, do it for the next guy. :thumb:

I would but I just need to figure out what to do with this bottle thats located in front of the radiator on the drivers side. This thing touchs the intercooler right now. I'm also trying to keep my a/c... and I think this bottle has someone to do with it.

Look at my post titled "What to do with these lines".... There's something with a stainless steel line coming from the drivers side in front of the radiator...

I still see no bottle on the driverside, seems like your only problem is IC touching the AC line which means you need to move the IC out more. Is this a side to side short route IC?

I meant this line right here. It sticks out farther than the oil cooler looped line.

Does the IC have two welded support on the bottom that you're suppose to drill and mount to the chasis?

It has 2 plates that you screw to the i/c and then probably drill and bolt to the bottom of the frame. Its the same as this one in THIS faq. Long piping, as well.

we'll see. i got long piping.... and i wanna replace the crash beam. I'll have to make new brackets to bolt up on the bottom as well.
