Good #'s for compression??

I did a dry compression test the other day and it was about 145 all the way across..is this good for an engine that has 149k miles on it?..and i noticed that the tips of the spark plugs are like a white haze color...i dont kno if its true or not but is it running lean? and with that many miles i managed to run a 14.5

I did a dry compression test yesterday and got 170 psi across the board... I think that standard is 167psi, and 140psi is minimum and car should be serviced.

Maybe try a wet compression test and see if it helps? If so, then prolly bad rings..

but seriously... just do some better plugs and you'll be fine.

damn!.....so i need rings cuz it also burns oil sometimes but what kind of plugs should i get...or should i just turn down the boost?...its at 15 now..btw..how much are rings?

Nothing wrong with those numbers TalonBoy.

Factory is 164 and service limit is 121.

I don't know where Dawg is getting his numbers or how he managed to get 170 from a 1g!
