I want a 'good' boost gauge that reads in PSI.

Greddy and Apexi just make them in BAR.

Don't tell me to get an autometer - I had '3' different ones on the 1g I had and all of them were messed up and read either 1-2psi or 1-2hg with the engine off. And I didn't drop any of them. One came that way to me straight from a vendor. The other 2 read that way after a few months. I am not going to buy another one of those.

I want one that reads vacuum also.

Anyone have any suggestions? I don't want to spend much more than $100.

I have a Autometer Ultra-light Silver face +30/-30 it is dead on accurate, sits at 0 when the engine is OFF.

IMO there isn't a better gauge available then Autometer.

So get WHAT you want., but Autometer is #1.

So what is stopping you from shopping for different gauges? You don't know how to search google?

Autometer, Blitz, Defi, SPW at machv
VDO at RRE, Buschur, Extreme
All above + HKS and SPA on the DSMtuners parts list

I agree, Autometer is great. When i was troubleshooting by car I didn't want to spend a lot of money because i didn't know if I was keeping the car. I got a APC PowrGlo. Damn thing has worked fine. Also you can't beat it for $32 delivered. only problem is max boost reading is 20 PSI. and we all know when we mod first thing that goes up is boost and fuel.

I personally think autometer are some of the worst gauges made, you get what you pay for, and the quality put into them is seriously lacking. If you like them, fine, but I personally think they are pretty cheap/ghetto gauges.

All Apexi boost gauges are NOT in bar. I have their 60mm EL boost gauge in PSI. Go to Slowboys site, they sell them in bar and psi.

Thats must be why 90% of the NHRA, all of NASCAR, probably every sort of circle track, sprint car, a majority of SCCA racers and a ton of other professional racers use them. I love it when a person gets maybe 3 gauges there entire life and that company is "the most horrible thing I have ever dealt with". When you make as many gauges as Autometer and pump them as quick as they do, one or two will have a problem, its called owning a huge business. I know people that have had bunk Greddy and Apex gauges, so they must be shit also. You show me one company that has never had a problem with a gauge and i will buy you what ever you want out of there catalog.

Autometer has been around for longer than most poeple on this board have been alive and there is nothign wrong with there products. If they give you a bunk one they make it right ASAP with no questions asked.

I have an Autometer boost guage, all my friends use Autometer, a lot of the local DSM club uses Autometer, and I have never heard of anyone having a problem with them.

Me either. A few here and there, but i have had 2 sets of autometer gauges in both of my talons, and everyone of them has performed 100%.

Dont complain if it aint broke , i guess.

In every car I've ever modded- from a 1994 Civic Si to a 2003 Mustang GT- I've used Autometer for everything... I've gotten a couple of funky guages (2 out of the 18 that I've purchased\installed for myself and others)... it happens.... but Autometer is one of the best companies out there for guages...
