I have been a 420a guy since I got into dsm's but, I think i need the boost and I don't mean 420a. I don't want to spend $2000+ just to be as fast as a stock GST. I am looking into buying my first factory turboed dsm (2g)...my questions are...what, if anything, should I be looking for when I'm out on the hunt. I've searched but i haven't read too much...just thought that you guys could probably help more...ps sorry I didn't know where else to post.

Spent 1200 and was faster than a gst. So that is invalid.

We are looking as well, my main thing is finding one un molested.

Ok sorry about that but that was just what I read. Even still i want something that's DD and can give me between 350-375. Fairly easy. I've heard to do it with the 420a would be a lot of work and precise tuning.

aggrrrreeeeeddd! the closer to stock you can get, the better. unless you know what your buying. its hard to wok on cars that have been f'd with by several people. just make sure the body isn't screwed and the interior is good. it drives good, yada yada. awd is the way to go btw, smart move

420's take more work it is true. But high hp FWD seems pointless to me. There is only so much traction.

General concensus is that 300 is the max reasonable hp on a fwd.

Well my ultimate goal if I can't find an AWD dsm is to do an AWD swap. I've read up on I and know why I need parts wise. Also the guys at my dads shop are all in on it. But the easier route would his be an AWD dsm
