hey guys got a 96 eclipse rs n/t im getting 3gs soon and im lookin at parts, i wanna make my 420a turbo and run about 15 psi i know thats quite a bit but im planning on doing eagle rods, idk for pistons yet, new valve springs and retainers new cylinder head, all new gaskets, a mild cam, new rockers, does anyone suggest any particular parts for any of these? and where is a good site to shop off for 420a parts? is there a turbo kit that doesnt require welding to put on? a list of parts would be awsome! thanks guys

also should i consider this turbo kit?

Mitsubishi 95 96 97 98 99 Eclipse Non-Turbo 420A 2.0L T3/T4 Turbo Kit FastWayRacer.Com

i cant afford a 3grand greddy kit =[

It seems to have everything but hopefully you know how to weld because that's what it calls for on that down pipe. Otherwise everything seems to be there for the complete mod. Good luck.

Please search this stuff next time.

There is more you need to do than bolt a turbo up
And put some internals in. Not to mention that you are going to spend money on your motor but you are going to attach VERY CHEAP eBay products it. How good of quality do you actually think those parts are?

It's a better idea to talk to a 420a owner that has turbo on this site and gain some k owladge of what and how ro do it. Get a real turbo as well.

like is said i wish i could afford a greddy kit or something, im thinking i could get that cheapy kit and throw a big 16g turbo onto that kit and be doing pretty good? has anyone ever used one of these cheaper kits?

Plenty of people have used those kits, as well as those from more reputable sources like Hahn Racing or Treadstone Performance. As far as I'm aware, GReddy does not make a turbo kit for the 420A DSM.

Your questions are rather vague. In a broad sense, they've all been answered before. Nobody is going to put together a customized shopping list for you. Your best bet is to keep researching and sifting through the threads here until you develop a sense of what parts you want.

Please ask a more specific question the next time you start a thread.
