so next week I'm taking my block and head to get them machined. its a 1g head so I know its limits compared to a 2g head. any how my blocks going to have cp pistons(ive read the cons on them) and manly turbo tuff rods on stock crank. head wise I'm going to upgrade to stainless valves and upgraded springs and retainers. I don't plan to rev past 8k ever. any suggestions on what valves and springs I should use. I plan to go to the 2g head in the future to make more power but in the mean time I would like to have a strong built head, but cost wise I know I can't do the kiggley springs and retainers.

as always thanks for the help
Josh
