Okay so my basic idea with my build, I started with 10psi through my wastegate spring before I put on my MBC. I've since raised it to 12.
I have many people who say to me how I'm hardly even seeing the potential of my build, well I say that this way whenever I get bored and want more power I just raise my boost a bit more.. Otherwise if I shoot straight to the limit of my build and if I get bored - I'll have to spend a bunch of money to build my motor right away rather than simply turning up the boost.
Anyways I have a new spring coming which will put my wastegate spring pressure to 15 pounds.
My brother arranged through a friend to get my car on a dyno for free to see the potential of the build - so we'll be pushing near the limits of my build.
We're going to start around 20psi and work our way up until we feel its time to "stop while we're ahead"
My brother says we should shoot for a run at around 28psi as he said he doesn't like to double wastegate spring pressure.
I'm just wondering if theres anything else that I'm missing before I jump from 12/15psi all the way to 28psi.
I have literally near to no boost leak, even tiny ones.. I have heavy duty multi-layer silicone couplers, and t-bolt clamps everywhere.
Running E85 on 1100cc injectors tuned on DSMLink v3 by me.
Mitsubishi TD06 20g.. Tial 38mm Wastegate, Tial Q bov, etc etc - its all in my profile.
Just wondering if I should prepare anything else.
I'll be having to drive it to the dyno and back (total of 3 hours of driving) so I'm hoping it all goes smooth.
Let me know if you have any suggestions - thank you
