GM MAF sensor

I have a few (GM) Impala MAF sensors laying around, and I know its a nice upgrade for DSM's... I was wondering what they sell for because I want to get rid of a few of them.

I saw one go on ebay for $60, screen removed, polished or something, extremely clean.

Why would you remove the screen? I thought it was needed?
