Wow let me start by saying wow.
Let me just explain that I started with my car bogging bad and stalling all the time, so I yanked the turbo tonight. I had a 14b turbo, with a ebay 16g hotside and ebay WG. Well, The flapped shaft pin was sliding in and out of the hotside housing, so I switched it out because of possible boost leaks, now im running 14b turbo, 14b hotside, 14b wastegate non adjustable, ecy
Well now the fun.
OK Started the car and everything was fine, but car still bogged. Well after cleaning up our mess and tools, I go to leave my buddies house. The car now lobes BAD. The car has no power or boost unless I give it gas pedal. Well, I babied car all the way home (30 mins) because I didnt have a pin for the WG arm and flapper. When I pulled into my home, I went to lock the car doors, and I had NOOO power to do so, so Ipop the hood, just to check the battary connections. There I see my turbo hotside (not compressor),glowing bright orange. What would cause this????? Never had this issue before EVER.
I dont have heatshields
I have aftermarket exhaust
Im pretty sure my timing is 100% on
My wideband ratio driving was 14-15's which is great
No loss of power if I gave it gas (other wise it lobed BADD!!!!!!)
No oil or coolant leaking
I didnt notice any smoke under hood or car

, is a rich/lean condition or your burning oil somehow such as leaking exhaust valve seals, or leaking turbo seals (as examples).
. And I have 2 bolts that are stripped on my exhaust manifold in the head
. When it "lopes" the lights dim with the loping. If you drive the car and get past the loping, you reach a certain rpm, the car will clear up, and turbo will spool loud and it will pull hard.
