Glow Shift Gauges?

THose gauges look awsome.
Im thinking on selling my autometer ones (boost and air/fuel) to get the glow shift ones.
The autometer are great, but they don't light up good. I drive a lot at night and I need that nice light on the gauges.

a few questons that I have is how does the air/fuel mechanical gauge (from glow shift) works? I really like the digital ones (like I have) and they look way better.

The other things is I want to put a fuel pressure gauge inside my car, and I saw this one Black 7 Color 100PSI Fuel Pressure Gauge - GS-B711
can I install this one with no problems are this is the one that is a big no no. I heard you can install the eletrical ones with no problem. Will I be ok with this gauge.

The ones I have in mind are Boost, air/fuel, volt, fuel pressure, ans oil temp.
good choices or am I just spending money?

Here's a pic for yall of the white 7 color, not the best but... :

I'll get a pic of it during the day.

Nice pics everyone. I was debating on what gauge to get next since I already have some greddy and I need a oil press and water temp.

How do the electrical oil pressure gauge hold up for you guys? Some people say they are shit over on talk, the sending unit seems to want to fail afterawhile but at least they got warranties on them

What about the black and white ones. Who like what color better? I want a white one but they look like they light up pretty shitty

Can anyone post up more pics of the white gauges thanks!

I was thinking about getting a boost and an oil pressure gauge from Glow Shift.
By the looks of this thread i would guess you guys recommend them for the price then?

Hey guys,

I have the glowshift boost gauge and im curious about the installation.
2 Things:

First, I got my boost gauge with the 1/4 size trim pillar. Its no where near long enough to replace the factory A-Trim. Do I cut the length of my replacement pod from the A-Trim so I can fit it where the A-Trim goes? Or shall I just pull it off, line it up, and overlap it ontop the A-Trim accordingly?

Second, I have the orange, yellow, black and purple wires. They are only about a foot in length, and was curious if this is even long enough to connect to anything? I don't have the instructions (lost them), so if anyone has an actual write up (more detail than Red's on pg1) I would appreciate it.

I'm trying to get this installed in the next few days, so i need to know how the short trim pillar version installs, as well as how / where to attach the wires and if theyre going to be long enough.

Thanks guys!

ive used their boost and volt guages for over 3 years now. but their a/f i got way back in the day is obvious crap

a/f being crap because its narrow band and really just a light show? then true. as far as crap because not working or problems all together, double check the wiring. It's a simple install, just tapping of wires. That's my best advice. Make sure the proper wiring diagram is used for your car.

currently have a double gauge pod with boost and a/f. a/f is crap, like redturboeclipse said its jus a light show... pretty sure im gonna get a triple pod with the gloshifts boost, water temp, and oil pressure gauges.. thanks for the inspiration all :)

I am curious about the newer peak and hold gauges they are putting out. I was wondering if any of you have bought them. I like the prosport gauges but they dont make a nitrous gauge. Glow shift does. I would like to purchase Peak and hold; boost, oil pressure, fuel pressure, and nitrous pressure. Anybody have any reviews of any of these gauges?

I did the same, I got the tinted 7 color series, EGT and Boost, works good, its wired for the headlights and parking lights, but I rigged a switch so that if a cop rolls by, switch off LOL.

Well I went with Oil Pressure, Water Temp, and Boost.
So I install it all to make sure the lighting works.
My Boost works fine, But the finger doesn't light up.
However, my Water temp and Oil press are hardly lit up, but the finger lights up?

Any ideas?

Hopefully I made a mistake wiring, because I don't want to do returns.. LOL.

I have the glowshift 7 color w/ white face. a/f boost and vacuum. have had them for a couple months now and still work great.

just got mine yesterday and finished installing them today...i love them, the a/f gauge was a little tricky tho, took me a while to find out which wire to put the t-tap on..works great for a narrowband tho, doesn't bounce around like i heard the autometers do, it stays optimal most of the time[except for startup]...long story short really great product highly recommended, but buy direct from their site!
