I am in need of a Boost gauge and exhaust temp gauge(or air/fuel gauge) and have been researching different vendors for some time now. On eBay, a store is selling a brand called Glow Shift for pretty reasonable prices. Just wanted to know if anyone has either heard or installed any of their products. I'm just skeptical because of the low price of these gauges. I have included a link to the vendor's store. Thanks.

I have a couple of their gauges, boost, oil psi, and volt. They are the black gauges and they work great and i haven't had any trouble out of them they come wiht all the correct hardware and instructions. I would buy them straight from the website not from e-bay

just got my tripple gauge pod and electrical oil sending unit...ill let you know how it goes

I just got my boost gauge two days ago, I'll let you know after I install it. It looks good so-far.:thumb:

I have used there Boost gauge, A/F, and Oil pressure gauges for over 2 years on a Turbocharged neon that I used to drag race, and I never had any issues with them. when I lost oil pressure the gauge showed me quickly, so I didnt lose a motor. I say A+ i'm happy with them

It's one of those things that a good amount of people have used or are using, although never talk about it. I've come upon many different threads where people mention they use their stuff. I plan to use it for my beater, and so is my uncle in his DSM and my friend in his. We shall have 3 testimonials whenever that happens. But just based on the presentation of their stuff, it does look pretty nice for the price.

Buying it on ebay will only save you like $3-4, if you just buy it directly from their site or the phone, you will see what I am talking about.

Ive used the boost, a/f, and oil psi gauge along with there triple gauge pod for a few months. The boost gauge seemed accurate from what i could tell but the oil psi gauge and a/f gauge didnt do much (oil psi gauge didnt work great because the sender was in the head, still showed oil pressure but not much). The pod was garbage though. If i had to get them i again i would though.

A couple days ago, I received the glowshift vac-boost gauge / voltimeter and I chose to go with their dual gauge cluster pod (not A-pillar). The gauges are nice, easy to install, come with simple instructions, and have all the nessecary hardware (boost even comes w/ hose+tee). Both of mine are the 'tinted 7-color' style.

My only gripe--like the above poster-- is that the pod isn't 100% 'plug-n-play'. The right side gauge opening was a little larger than the gauge, so I wrapped the gauge 1 1/2 times with electrical tape(right behind the face lip) which made it fit nicely. The pod as a whole though, isn't 'deep' enough to remain flush w/ the factory cluster. Unless you're looking hard, you'll never notice though!

Here's my 'MOCK-UP' attempt. After this, I put the boost on the right. Also, disregard that one stray wire and the 'lazy eye' look of the left gauge. =S

Here Is the way it looks now, sorry about the blurryness, camera phone (the enV has a weird focus procedure)

EDIT: Ignore the CEL, rear 02 ;X

The gauges themself look really good for the price IMO. If you would need another gauge pod i have an authentic autometer one i'd give to you cheap, brand new.

I agree, I camped out the glowshift ebay autions and got the pod, and two gauges for $80 shipped. It was at my door within two business days. :dsm:

prosport gauges, google it. they are accurate and look just like Defi gauges for a fraction of the cost, stay away from gloshift.

I have had my glowshift Boost oil pressure and A/F(useless) gauges for over a year and a half.. no issues yet.
Looks awesome, and seem pretty accurate (have not actually tested by hooking up another gauge.. but im mostly stock and the Boost as around 10PSI hen i had it at stock level.)

Prosport gauges are very nice, they have them on machv.com for a good price. I wouldnt say stay away from something if youve never had experience with them.

I bought 3 gauges from gloshift, and they're gauge pod.

1. gauge pod isn't a perfect fit, in fact it looks like its for a different car. ( but if you don't care that it bulges out then its decent for the price)
2. the boost gauge was off by 2 psi, I got it replaced with gloshift only to find out its off by 4 psi, of course they replaced it again, but all the downtime that I had to wait was too much.
3. the other two gauges that I got were EGT and oil pressure. I never hooked any of them up because, I wanted to hook all three up at once. So I sold all three of them and just kept the a pillar pod.

the a pillar pod is the cheapest you can get for a DSM. While I never tried any gloshift gauges, the fact that the boost they kept sending me was off made me want to stay away.

I currently have the prosport boost gauge, and I like it alot, looks clean and it was cheap, and its been reviewed in magazines and many other forums like wrxtuners, legacy, 3Si and supraforums.

I find my tripple pod to be a perfect fit.

As for the gauge, i cant see how you can complain much if the company tried to correct it for you. sur the downtime sucks, but atleast they tried to correct the situation. Many other companies wouldnt be so helpful.

Yes I have the boost, oil psi, and A/F gauge and I have had them for close to almost eight months or so. I haven't had any problems with mine yet. There was just a thread about this not to long ago maybe four or five days at the most. Go for it I like mine alot.

If you buy the pod + 3 gauge package of eBay it's much cheaper.

When I bought mine straight from the company I got the same deal from them as they had on Ebay I just like the re-assurance that you get when you can talk directly to the supplier of a product. But that's my oppinion other people might see differently.

Since lately I took the volt meter out and put in the A/F gauge. It seemed like a couple people where having problems so I tried it out and it works good for me (well as much as A/F can).

Their narrow band lightshow useless a/f gauge cost more than the oil pressure. I was going to get the a/f to fill an extra pod, but when I do get a set, I'll be going with the oil pressure. At least it will serve to be useful IMO.
