Basically I am doing exactly what supergoat is doing. But I spent a little more. Plus I will using a 16G which is waiting to get ported and cliped. Its a daily driver so Im going to buy a cheap ass junker so I can drive it and work on my Talon so I will still have a vehicle if I need to go to a parts store or some help to do the swap. (which will be soon)
need boost controller and knock sensor now

connicellis mitsubishi has a good deal going on for dsm'ers on knock sensors. only $58.48 for 1g's.

the only problem with pocketing one is that you're still ending up with an old worn out knock sensor. if any of the goo has leaked out the back of it then don't take it. no point in taking home a knock sensor for it to read way too sensitive and think you're constantly knocking meanwhile you lose power and your gas mileage sucks.

O c'mon now ppl dont mess up the kid.:shhh: Kid if u realy want to have fast car forgrt N/A DSM.Sell it as fast as it is posible and buy urselfe turbo car.As u see i have 93 N/A too and I was going to go same way as u think on going but My "PIZZA DELIVERY" car's auto transmision got ####ed up and and the the rebuild will cost 3 times the car cost me so I finaly decided what to do.Instead of buying new car for same money 2 - 3k I ll use my N/A and and will start saveing money for new car (TURBOOOO:D :thumb: ).I think WRX STi will be the choise :D,or maybe EVO 8 or may be (if I can find) 2G DSM 99 no more then 20 000 miles on it.But so far the WRX STi si the shizle so Im realy looking into it,but I ll prolly wait for an year so I can get me a used one (5-10k miles) u know way to save 3-5K;) .So if u think u can aford someting better then ur N/A dont wait even a second.:thumb:

definitely buying a turbo car would be the absolute best bet, but if you want to keep the car and low insurance rates turbo it.

the biggest problem with buying a used turbo car are the insurance and the amount of abuse the engine has seen. but if you buy a block to build up to turbo specs you can have a well running turbo engine and still pay cheap insurance. :) but its definitely the harder way to go.
