Steve and I worked last night but from the get-go we knew it might be a very productive night. When I plugged in my 150,000 BTU salamander it tripped a 20 amp breaker and decided not to work for the night. So it was pretty cold and after a day of working at our real jobs we struggled to get much done.
We actually expected things to slow down for us and we've talked about "getting over the hump". With all the pressure to get the car running, to launch a sponsorship campaign, to do the sponsor negations, book the travel, book the practice session, work on the video stuff, etc...etc..etc.. Basically we're getting a bit burned out. Oh, I forgot all the PIA that goes with getting a trailer hitch and a trailer.
Anyway, we are pressing on and we have some great sponsorship news to share in the near future and it looks like we might get the car rolling this weekend. So things are picking up for us and I think the worst is behind us.
Last night I finished mocking up the upper intercooler pipe and I did a temp install of the L1R turbo. Steve pulled out the VPC and harness in anticipation of the ECMlink that we are going to use for tuning. We have a work day scheduled for Saturday and we are hoping to get the exhaust built, IC pipes finished, and the car running by the end of the weekend. We should be streaming live too so if you want to tune and watch you can.
