Sup guys not really a newb I've had my eclipse since 07 and I've done tons of work to it being as that's the only con to owning a dsm..my 96 gst was out of commision for about a year due to burnt valves and heavy smoking. Kinda embarrising pulling up to a red light and killing the hot chick next to u in a convertable. But I'm making better money and ####a car payment so let's rebuild the eclipse. A thousand dollars later some new mounts wires plugs 16g turbo safc II cam sensor belts head gasket valve cover gasket stock cam gears ( mechanics a douche) and some other good ol non producing stock parts but now that's it back I'm a bit rusty and have a few questions about my car maybe u guys can help me with. First I'm on stock fuel setup if I boost low can I get away with just a better pump and tuning it? Second the infinity box under the passanger seat is that an amplifyer? And lastly I'm not sure if I should stay side mount And move to stainless steel piping or would the frount mount be better choice again it's the Evo 3 16 g ?

Welcome back!

I am personally running an FP Evo 3 16g with upgraded IC piping and BOV with a stock sidemount. I am running 14-15lb of boost, stock fuel setup and DSMLink with no problems. My car is down at the moment getting a complete overhaul but when it was driving with that setup, everything was fine. I would definetly consider upgrades to your fuel system and IC setup if you plan to boost 18+ lbs.

The box under the passengers seat is the stock Infinity amplifier. I personally have left my entire stock system at the moment but if you do plan to upgrade your headunit, speakers, sub and amp, i would definetly remove everything just to simplify the process.

Thanks I figured a 190 walbaro shouldn't hurt with some tuning where could I get just ic piping for the sidemount that fits not cheap eBay crap I have to cut and about the stock amp could i just replace the amp and use the same wiring setup or is this amp decent enough to use for my aftermarket interiors and jut get an amp for my subs

Has anyone ever hid a sub and the amp under the back seat?

Where under the back seat would you hide a sub and amp? There is no storage "under" the rear seats unless you mean in the hatch area?

look at some of the thin subs by kicker
they're more expensive but you can put them almost anywhere
