getting an afpr this weekend

hey guys, i am planning on getting an aeromotive afpr by this week or so but i have no idea about working the afpr. my question is when connecting the vacuum lines to the afpr, do i need to T-fitting the boost soleniod vacuum line and the fuel pressure vacuum line together and run it to the afpr? also my other question is when controlling the fuel pressure, is there some type of electronic controller needed to control it or when the afpr is properly adjusted from the screw it automatically adjust pressure when driving like a boost controller.

sorry guys i dont know nothing about fuel pressure regulator so please help me out and skool me on this.

I know a little more. I got a fullthrottle bolt on. It has a line that runs to the fuel pressure solenoid on the firewall. A nipple attaches it to the return line.
Since it attaches to the rail there is no incoming fuel line. Adjust with a set screw to the base I want on the gauge I have on top of the filter with the solenoid line OFF, replace the line and under boost it raises the pressure on a 1:1 ratio so if I set my base at 45psi at 20psi of boost I get 65fuel psi. If I confused you I will try to clear it up!!
 
You should be able to use the same vacuum line that is going to your stock fuel pressure regulator to attach to you aeromotive one. nothing tricky there really.
after you get everything hooked up, you remove the line temporarily to set the base fuel pressure. Im pretty sure pressure is 36-38 psi stock, with the vacuum line unhooked, so start there. reattach the line, and you should drop to roughly 25 psi at idle, given you have 18in of vacuum at idle. (my idle is only around 15-16, so I get about 27-28 psi). as long as you got the right regulator for a turbo car, it increases the boost by itself, no controling it externally. all you can adjust is the base pressure, it does the rest. good luck.
