3" rnr downpipe to a 4 foot long piece of 3" straight pipe to a morosso spiralcore muffler 3" inlet/3" outlet with a turn down right in front of the gas tank. i'm anxious to see how it sounds, but more so, how much it helps my times.

well. i got home, and i took the car out for a drive and yikes!!!! boost spikes up to around 20 psi on a 3rd gear pull, and i get what feels like fuel cut, do i have to turn my boost down avoid this? or is there something else i can do? i have my manual boost controller set to about 18psi. the only time i've ever had the fuel cut feeling before, is when i would drive the car hard (full boost) when it was still cold, which i assume caused fuel cut because the car wasn't fully warmed up, and thus the intake charge was colder, and less dense, so it was more air than the stock injectors could match, because this would not happen when the car was fully warmed up, but it's never spiked up to 20psi like this untill tonight. any help?

a MBC will not alter the effects of boost creep, you need porting and shit to cure boost creep, cause the last time i thought that you could control it with a boost controller i got yelled at

well, okay then. thanks for the warning. so how about this question. what would cause my car to run great at 18psi, with stock exhaust. then i remove stock exhaust and put on the exhaust i described earlier, and do nothing else, then drive the car and have 20psi instead of 18, and hit fuel cut in 3rd gear at WOT? could it be that my turbo was not able to flow at maximum level because it was restricted because of the stock exhaust, but now that i have an open, free flowing exhaust, the turbo spools up more, and isnt as restricted, so it's not really a boost "spike" or "creep" but it just creates more psi from the open exhaust?

yep -
the stock exhaust restricted the airflow past the exhaust impeller, now that you opened it up more air is moving faster on its way out the pipe and spinning that impeller a lot quicker
