Hello everyone, so I'm a starting a slight build. This build will not happen over a week, or even month, but over a few months. I want to give a little background about my car.
My love is a 1995 Eagle Talon TSi AWD. This puppy came with all the options except for leather seats, which I put in anyway. It has the extremely awesome LSD differential option. I bought the car almost a year ago now, with 98,000 miles on the body and engine. The car was completely stock, had a nice body, a few dents and scratches here and there but nothing major. My price was $1,900 plus tags and registration.
She was amazing, this was the first turbo car I ever had, and she pulled hard. But, of course, the DSM legacy caught up with her due to bad maintanence and things began to break. My first issue was the master cylinder went bad, rebuilt it, and fixed. Then the transfer case seized up at 70mph, and had to fix that. I blew 3 turbos somehow. Then, one day driving to work, on an exit, the engine blew out a timing belt. It didn't break, shred, or destroy, it just skipped. How? I don't know. I put a new head on it, did all the work, started the car and had a loud tap. This was a few months ago. We thought that this was a bad lifter in the head the guy sold me, but 6 months later, we find out that it is a bad rod in cylinder #1. So here we are today.
This build will be to rebuild the engine to great condition, and to add some performance. I am on a pretty tight budget being a college student who doesn't make very much, but will be done correctly.
I'll attach a few pics of the beauty.
