Generic brand cam seals

Will any brand of cam seal be ok or should I try to find OEM? A quick google search brought up many brands. Thanks.

I've heard the fel-pro seals are a little better quality than the OEM ones. I went with the felpro's and haven't had any leaks so far.

I use felpro on mine never used oem ones no premature issues.

I also ended up using felpro with no problems. It's been 4k so far.

You should be safe with fel pro. It's a main stream brand.

A better search than google for what I would call acceptable dsm brands would be to look at what brands some of our supporting vendors sell. It's a good indicator. Think about it some random company from amazon or whatever could care less about the dsm community but these companies here care enough to log on here to help with advice, do research and testing, pay to be here, and even offer us deals. Those are the guys that likely aren't going to sell you stuff that is junk. Their reputation is in plain view of all of us.
