Hey guys, how are you all doing?

I am about to purchase a Greddy Type-S BOV off of Ebay. I was wondering, does the BOV itself have to be Eclipse (DSM) specific or are they all made the same? The reason I ask this is because alot of the people on ebay selling have several car names in the title, and I'm not trying to get ripped off. Also, I ask this because I know for a fact that the flange (adapter) has to be eclipse specific.

..and a side question, (caution, completely n00bed) if I install the type-s with the eclipse flange will that be a re-circulated installation or do I have to do more than that? (I'm with you guys, venting sucks!)

..you know what? I might-as-well ask this too since I don't want to spam the forum. (completely off topic) is there a thread here @ dsmtuners.com that explains the best way to drive a turbo car in traffic? I hear read alot that if you let off the gas in the middle of a spool or boost you can damage your turbo.

Thanks guys, I appreciate it.

You need the one specificially for the Eclipse if you are using the stock IC piping. If you're using some aftermarket upper IC pipe, like Dejon tools or Greddy, then you can use the universal type S bov

All Type-S BOV's are universal. When they sell it as a kit(ex. DSM BOV kit) all it inlcudes is the BOV and the flange to mount it to the stock IC piping. If you buy one on Ebay that has DSM kit, etc, then you will be fine. If you buy one of Ebay that says will work with any turbocharged engine, chances are its just the BoV and doesnt have the adapter. As long as you put the big black hose that you take off the stock BoV back on(the one that goes to the intake) you will be recirculating.
