Question About Greddy Type S?

I just recently purchased a bone-stock 95 GSX. I'm looking into Dejon Tool piping and a greddy type s BOV for my first mods. My question is if I get the piping flanged for the greddy type s, can I buy the universal BOV or do i still have to spend the extra couple bucks for the GSX specific BOV. It's not that important, but being still in High School and on a tight budget, I am trying to save all the money i can. Thanks for any responses and all help is appreciated.

AFAIK there is no GSX specific greddy type s. The greddy type s will fit on any car as long as the flange on the intercooler pipe is for the greddy type s. There is an option to buy an adaptor for the greddy type s, but you only need it if you are installing the bov into the stock intercooler piping (which you are not doing).

If you really want to be cheap, get a pipe off trader or classifieds here for a 1g BOV and a 1g BOV. It'll do the same thing and save you some money.

This is partially true. The BOV itself is the same no matter what "package" you get, but there is a 2G DSM specific package that comes with a flange and hardware to mount it in the stock piping, so you don't have to buy it separately.

Of course, since b4christ15 is getting the Dejon pipe, it won't be necessary, as you've already mentioned. Universal type-S will do.
