so i may have messed up my gear sprocket after attempting to remove a bolt that was stuck inside. basically, i was doing a tbelt job, during the process i was unable to remove the timing sprocket after i removed the center bolt ( rusted on) so i tried screwing in the 4 pulley bolts ( without the pulley of course) to create a leverage type thing to push the sprocket off the cramshaft... doing so i broke off the hex portion of the bolt and the body of the bolt was stuck inside the sprocket. so i tried making a grove in the bolt with my dremel to use a screwdriver to remove the bolt ( pictured) ... long story short, i ended up having to drill out the bolt and re threading the hole.
my question is this; i think i may i have gotten to close to the sprocket teeth with the dremel and i also may have taken a little to much off while i was drilling out the bolt. there are no cracks or anything but i unsure if i should reuse this sprocket or not... any input would be much appreciated.. thank you
