looks cool...but what exactly did you do?

yeah but it was kind of lucky I guess. I drilled the holes just below the curve of the steering column cover and routed all of the wires down the steering column then powered them up. I didnt have to adjust them at all they came out aimed like that.

For some reason my camera picked up the actuall focus point of the LED's but in person they are just give a bright glow all over the gauge cluster.

I purchased some blue leds at a local auto parts store than seperated them from the built in battery pack just leaving a negative and positive wire for all of the leds than drilled som holes in the removed steering column cover and ran the LED's negative and positive wires into one for each and powered them up with a switch installed. You cant use just any LED for that brightness though I used LED's that are rated at 12 volts with a built in resistor.

I would go take another pic but its dark out and it wouldnt show up.

Basically your steering column just on the other side of your steering wheel has a cover on it that has a slope built into it for clearance when adjusting the height of the steering wheel. I mounted the LED's in that plastic peice just after the curve starts.

Get it?
Let me know if you do or not. I will post a pic of the mounting location tomorrow

Sweeeeeeeeeet... Inexpensive...
